Graeme John has been Managing Director of Australia Post since 1993. From 1990 was Australia Post's Chief Manager of National Operations.[1]

Graeme John first gained notoriety playing for, and later coaching, the South Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League, now the Sydney Swans Football Club in the Australian Football League. He has also served as President of the South Melbourne Football Club. He continues to contribute to the sport as an Australian Football League Commissioner.

He has more than 28 years' experience in line management for road, rail and sea transport operations; former Deputy General Manager, TNT Australia;

Fellow, Chartered Institute of Transport.[2]

Member: Committee for Melbourne; Business Council of Australia; Australian Coalition of Service Industries; Business Mature Age Workforce Advisory Group.

Director: Road Transport Forum; Consolidated Paper Industries.
