Gray Whale Cove State Beach (a.k.a. Devil's Slide) is a privately operated (as of 2001) beach with special regulations, schedules, and fees, north of Montara, California, USA, by Highway 1. It features a sheltered cove surrounded by abrupt cliffs, with a steep trail.[1][2].
