Gritty McDuff's Brewing Company is a microbrewery with locations in Portland, Freeport, and Auburn, Maine.

Gritty's began as a brewpub in Portland, originally founded in 1988. In 1995, a second location with a larger microbrewery facility was opened in Freeport. A third brewpub was opened in Auburn in 2005.

Gritty's has frequently been awarded the titles of "Maine's Best Brew Pub", "Best Maine Microbrew" and "Best Bar" in statewide polls. Gritty's ales have been repeat winners at the annual Real Ale Festival in Chicago and have also appeared as Featured International Selections at the Great British Beer Festival.

Gritty's has created much discussion with its "over the line" approach to radio and TV advertising. These outrageously humorous and edgy spots, conceived and produced by the Maine creative agency Big Moose Media, spoof subject matter from politics and religion to terrorism. One character created for Gritty's, Eben, has quickly become a regional success in his own right.
