"Free & Easy"

"H" is the 27th single released by Ayumi Hamasaki on July 24, 2002. The single included three A-sides, and was the top-selling single of 2002 in Japan. It was the only single to sell over a million copies that year. To commemorate hitting the million mark in sales, this single was re-released as a special limited edition on November 7, 2002.

Ayumi co-composed the three tracks with D.A.I under her pseudonym CREA. No music videos were shot to promote the single.

Commercial endorsments

Hanabi was used in a TV ad for a mobile phone and July 1 was the image song for a lipstick commercial. Ayumi appeared in both commercial campaigns. Independent was used as a Baseball Cheer.[2]
