Happy Town is an upcoming American drama television series that will air on ABC on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central. It was created by Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg. After the shooting of the pilot episode, Ben Schnetzer replaced John Patrick Amedori for the role of Andrew Haplin and Steven Weber replaced Dean Winters for the role of John Haplin.[1]

Haplin, a small town in Minnesota has its first crime following a period of peace after a series of unsolved kidnappings.[2] Although the series is set in Minnesota, many of the scenes for the pilot episode and for the first season of the program were filmed in Canada, in communities such as Port Hope, Ontario [3] and St. Catharines, Ontario.
