Hardings Wood Junction, photographed from the island between a pair of parallel locks. The Trent and Mersey Canal runs both sides of the camera and ahead. The Macclesfield Canal starts through the side bridge.

Hardings Wood Junction (grid reference SJ834546) near Kidsgrove, Staffordshire, England is the point at which the Macclesfield Canal (or, historically, the Hall Green Branch) joins the Trent and Mersey Canal.

It lies close to the northern portal of the Harecastle Tunnel.
