Haret Hreik (Arabic: Øارة Øريك‎), or Harat Hurayk, is a mixed Shi'ite and Maronite Christian town, part of the Dahieh suburbs of southern Beirut, Lebanon. Located northwest of the Rafik Hariri International Airport, it was primarily a residential area and the headquarters of the Shi'ite group Hezbollah. Israeli warplanes destroyed the headquarters and civilian homes on July 2006. ..[1]
