Biography

As Night Falls

In 2004, Heather Baker and a group of friends formed the band As Night Falls. But shortly after the release of their debut EP The End of All Innocence, Baker left the band while the remaining members formed a different band. [2] [3]

The Iron Maidens

On February 2007, Baker joined The Iron Maidens after months of auditioning for a guitarist following the band's dismissal of member Elizabeth Schall (currently with the Death metal band Dreaming Dead). She joined vocalist Aja Kim, guitarist Sara Marsh, bassist Wanda Ortiz and drummer Linda McDonald as part of the Maidens' 2007-2008 lineup. As a member of the Maidens, her stage name was "Adrienne Smith," a female version of Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith.

On late June 2008, The Iron Maidens' official website announced that Baker had departed from the band to focus on family commitments and her solo band The Afterlife.[4]

The Afterlife

Baker formed The Afterlife in 2006 with her best friend Rachel Sinfield. Starting in 2007, they collaborated with producer Sergio Chavez to record tracks for a future CD release. Two demo tracks are currently featured on their MySpace site. [5]

On October 2008, Sinfield left the band due to personal problems. She was replaced by guitarist Kevin Teale. The Afterlife also consists of bassist Joey Caligiuri and drummer Robert Zimmermann.
