Hedingham Secondary School and Sixth Form is a state school situated in Christmas Fields in Sible Hedingham, Essex and caters for pupils from the ages of 11-18.

The school is under the leadership of John Panayi and is undergoing changes. Funds have been invested into a new 3g astro-turf sports pitch.

Recently the school opened a new student support centre, which is now the base for the House Leaders and Learning Support. This now means that all areas of child support will be based in one area.

Hedingham School offers a wide range of subjects throughout the year groups. The school offers some subjects which are not commonly available such as rural science.

The school's science block has undergone recent refurbishment as has the gymnasium . The school received a great rating by Ofsted inspectors when they visited in September 2007[1]

The school has recently developed a new reward scheme and mentoring system, all of which pioneered by school's youth council. The school is now also split into five houses, De Vere house, Thomason house, Moynes house, Hawkwood house and Symonds house. These Houses are then split into forms in which pupils from all years are placed.
