Helen Seinfeld, played by Liz Sheridan, is a fictional character on the US television sitcom Seinfeld (1989–1998). She is Jerry Seinfeld's mother. Her husband—Jerry's father—is Morty Seinfeld.

According to Jerry, Helen has never once set foot in a natural body of water. She is a retiree who lives in Florida.

Helen holds the distinction of being the only recurring minor character to appear in every season of Seinfeld, played by the same actor. (Wayne Knight did not do the voice of Newman in his original appearance; his voice was later dubbed over Larry David's.) Her husband Morty also appeared in each season but was played by Phil Bruns in his first appearance, rather than by Barney Martin who portrayed him in every subsequent episode.
