Tip of the day... Wikipedia is currently fighting a War on Vandalism. This requires many volunteers in an organized effort to repair this damage. The wikipedians on the front lines of this battle are the members of Wikipedia's intrepid Counter-Vandalism Unit. The CVU has developed specialized tools, procedures, and initiatives for fighting vandalism on Wikipedia. You can be of great service to Wikipedia by joining the CVU. ![]() Read more: Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism

If it's not covered by the FAQ, try asking at the Colloquium. |

General information
MediaWikiThe function of MediaWiki itself (the software of Wikiversity) is described at the MediaWiki User's Guide in Meta-wiki. The MediaWiki-handbook in Meta-wiki is not kept here in order to avoid duplicate maintenance work (the same applies to all help pages not specific to Wikiversity). If you suspect a software bug, ask for feedback at the Colloquium, and then report it using the BugZilla bug report system. This is the only way to get MediaWiki developers to notice your bug reports. Other help page collectionsAs Wikiversity is younger than Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects and/or received less attention there are large sets of how-tos and other help pages available in those projects and are often also a good additional source finding a helpful How To for your work in Wikiversity:
