Bruce arrives in Los Angeles in search for Tony Stark at Stark Industries whom he knows can cure him from his gamma mutation. However, Bruce receives a head injury resulting in amnesia after rescuing a couple from gangsters as the Hulk. Rick, whom followed him, encounters War Machine from Stark Industries. An attempt to cure Bruce is interrupted by General Ross, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Gabriel and the Hulkbuster team. They airlift Bruce who has transformed into Hulk out of the building using a containment unit. Rick is injured after an attempt to break Hulk free. Tony Stark (as Iron Man), War Machine and HOMER help fight off the Hulk busters, whilst Hulk rescues Rick.
The episode is a crossover with the Iron Man animated series. It is the follow up to the crossover episode from Iron Man, "Hulk Buster", which features the Hulk. That episode, however, premiered before this one.
