The Highway 59 in Southern Ontario, Canada is a historic route connecting Long Point Provincial Park in Norfolk County to the town of Shakespeare in Perth County. It was established in 1937 and decommissioned in 1998. Highway 59 also served Oxford County as an in-between point. Other communities served include Norwich, Woodstock, and Tavistock. The majority of the highway had a speed limit of 80 kilometres (50 mi) per hour; speed limits of 50 kilometres (31 mi) and 60 kilometres (37 mi) per hour were used in residential areas. In Norfolk County, Valley Heights Secondary School was located on the former Ontario Provincial Highway 59 on a stretch of road that was 80 kilometers per hour (no school zone was present).
