The Flag of the Hispanic People (Spanish: Bandera de la Hispanidad or Bandera de la Raza Hispánica), also called the Hispanic flag) is a flag used to represent the Hispanic people.

The flag consists of three purple cross pattées (symbolizing Christopher Columbus's three ships, the Niña, the Pinta, and the Santa María) and a golden inti sun (symbolizing the awakening of the new lands) on a white field (symbolizing peace). The purple color of the crosses comes from the ancient use of this color in the lion of the Kingdom of León (later Crown of Castile), where the Spanish language was born.

The flag was designed by Ángel Camblor, a captain of the Uruguayan Army. He was the winner of a contest organized by Juana de Ibarbourou in 1932. The flag was first raised on Independence Square of Montevideo on October 12, 1932, and officially adopted by all member countries of the Pan-American Conference at their Seventh Assembly in 1933.
