Hissss (also known as Nagin: The Snake Woman) is an independent co-production between the USA and India, directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch.^[3]

Plot

The film, based on the legend of Nāga, is about a snake woman (Malika Sherawat) whose mate is captured by an American hunter. The snake woman decides to take revenge on the hunter.

Production

The film was shot simultaneously in English and Hindi.^[5]. Famed special effects designer Robert Kurtzman was responsible for developing the look of the Snake Woman in the film.^[6] The film was shot in the jungle of Kerala, India.^[7]
