"Hole in the Earth" is the first single from American rock band Deftones' fifth album, Saturday Night Wrist.

The song was released to radio airplay on September 12, 2006. It charted relatively well, peaking at 18 and 19 in Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Tracks and Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks charts,[1] respectively, and in 69th position in the UK Singles Chart.[2] A music video was recorded for the single, directed by Brian Lazzaro. Chino comprised these lyrics while the band was feuding over the direction of the album, stating "I hate all of my friends, they all lack taste sometimes."

The song was released as a downloadable track for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on March 6, 2008[3], and can also be played in Saint's Row 2.

The song was remixed by Danny Lohner aka Renholder for the soundtrack album of the movie Underworld: Rise of the Lycans on January 13, 2009.
