Hollie is the debut album by young British soprano Hollie Steel.[1][2] The album is due to be released on 19 May 2010.[3] Steel’s debut album is to be launched at The Roundhouse on the day of its release.[3]

Steel rose to fame after her appearance on the third series of Britain's Got Talent, and signed with a record label after the competition. The first single from the album is Edelweiss from The Sound of Music. The single will be released on 29 March 2010, and both the single and the album are being distributed by Universal and will be available both in the shops and digitally online.[4] The album will include the Pendle’s Arden Youth Choir on some of the classical pieces.[5] Steel recorded the album at the sound studio in the ACE Centre in Nelson, Lancashire in September 2009.[6] The album, however, will not include Steel's Christmas single Where Are You, Christmas?, which failed to chart in the UK.[7] Steel is currently on a mini tour around the UK to promote the album.
