Red (Hayden Panettiere), the main protagonist, is in training for the Sister Hoods. Now, teaming with Wolf (Patrick Warburton), Red must investigate the mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel (Bill Hader and Amy Poehler) and Mr. Alligator the Alligator (Bill Murray).
Glenn Close, Patrick Warburton, David Ogden Stiers, Benjy Gaither and Andy Dick all reprised their roles from the first film; Hayden Panettiere replaced Anne Hathaway, and Martin Short took over from Jim Belushi.
The MPAA rated the film PG for some Some rude humor and mild language.
