Human Target is an American action drama television series broadcast by Fox in the United States and syndicated in Canada. It is based on the comic book character of the same title created by Jonathan E. Steinberg, which will premier on Fox on January 17, 2010.[1] The series began airing on CTV in Canada on January 15, 2010.[2]

Synopsis

The series follows the life of Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients. He protects his clients by completely integrating himself into the lives of the client, to become the human target. Chance is accompanied by his business partner Winston (Chi McBride) and hired gun Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley). He puts himself on the line to find the truth behind the mission.[3] Even his own business partner Winston doesn't know what drove him towards this life – becoming the human target.[4]

Production

On May 18, 2009, Fox announced that Human Target would premiere midseason. Mark Valley plays a security guard hired to protect clients by integrating himself into their lives.[5]

Music

On July 25, 2009, Bear McCreary announced on his blog from ComicCon that he would be scoring Human Target. He noted that the epic pilot score had been recorded with a full orchestra.[6]
