I Spit On Your Grave is a rape and revenge movie, and a remake of the 1978 film of the same name.[3] It is directed by Steven R. Monroe[4] and stars Chad Lindberg, Daniel Franzese, Rodney Eastman, Jeff Branson and Andrew Howard.[5] This film now written by Jeffrey Reddick, story creator for Final Destination series and writer for Day of the Dead.

Aspiring writer Jennifer Hills moves to a small town in order to write her first novel. Upon ordering food from the supermarket, she meets the grocery store delivery boy, a mentally handicapped man named Matthew.[6] Three disturbed local men who frequently harass and torment Matthew take notice of Jennifer's presence and begin to harass her. This harassment quickly evolves into more sinister taunts and actions, and culminates with the men attacking Jennifer and brutally sodomizing and gang raping her. The men also force Matthew to have sex with Jennifer during the attack.[7] Following the assault, the men order Matthew to kill her in an attempt to cover up their crime. Matthew cannot bring himself to do this, instead dabbing the knife in her blood to make it appear to the men that he has completed the task. After two weeks of recuperation and recovery, Jennifer pieces together a grisly plan for revenge.[8]
The filming began on November 2, 2009, under the direction of Steven R. Monroe.[10] The film stars Chad Lindberg, Daniel Franzese, Rodney Eastman, Sarah Butler, Jeff Branson, Saxon Sharbino, Amber Dawn Landrum and Andrew Howard.[11] It is being is distributed by CineTel, and is produced by the company's president and CEO Paul Hertzberg. Lisa Hansen, Jeff Klein, Alan Ostroff, Gary Needle and Meir Zarchi (director of the original) are executive producers.[12] Location filming took place in Louisiana.[13]
CineTel Films has a planned 2010 worldwide theatrical release.[14] The DVD will release in the first quarter of 2011[15], it is distributed in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K. and New Zealand from Anchor Bay Entertainment.[16]
