The Idas Blue (Plebejus idas) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in the Palearctic ecozone and the Nearctic ecozone.
The length of the forewings is ca. 14 mm. The butterfly flies from June to August depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Calluna and Fabaceae species.
