Ikôn, a portable electronic device from Psion Teklogix[1] is a rugged PDA unit, designed for mobile workers. It has a large (for PDA standards) 3.7" VGA touch-screen display, as well as a variety of options, such as bar code scanner.
Today, this hand-held computer is not considered a consumer item, but a rugged commercial unit.[2]. It has an IP65 rating and has survived drop tests from 5 feet to polished concrete.[3]
