Inter-Provincial Twenty20 is a Twenty 20 domestic Cricket competition in Sri Lanka held by Sri Lanka Cricket. It is a part of their Inter-Provincial Cricket Tournament program. Sri Lanka used to have a Twenty20 Tournament which was conducted from 2004-2008 and was held between the clubs in Sri Lanka. From 2008 Inter-Provincial twenty20 became the main stream domestic twenty20 competition in Sri Lanka. Wayamba elevens has won all three tournaments.

Inaugural season

Wayamba elevens wins the first Inter-Provincial Twenty20 tournament. [1]

Second season

Wayamba elevens wins their second Inter-Provincial Twenty20 tournament and qualifies for the 2009 Champions League Twenty20. [2]

Third season

Wayamba elevens wins their third Inter-Provincial Twenty20 tournament and qualifies for the 2010 Champions League Twenty20. [3]

Future

From 2009, Champions League Twenty20 will include the winner of Inter-Provincial twenty20. For 2009, the team that will take part in the tournament is Wayamba elevens.
