From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Interactive Media Awards, Inc. (IMA) is an annual, international website awards competition designed to recognize excellence in website design, innovation and development. Created in 2004 by the Interactive Media Council, Inc., a nonprofit organization of web designers, developers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, IMA seeks to "elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winners a boost in marketing and exposure." Awards are granted in over 70 categories representing a wide range of industries. In 2006, individuals and organizations from 46 countries participated in the competition. Winners receive a series of awards and online tools that enable them to market their achievement and capitalize on their success.
