"It's All Right Here" is a song by Hannah Montana and lead single from the album, Hannah Montana 3. It was released on November 7, 2008, in conjunction with the Season 3 premiere of the Hannah Montana television show on the Disney Channel.[1]

Background

According with Disney Family the song is basically about having fun: "Check out the scenery, we won the lottery," Hannah urges a friend to stick around and soak up the good life — and the fun times ahead.[1] The song was originally to be released under Hannah Montana: The Movie as confirmed by the music video that premiered in Disney Channel, but was dropped from the tracklisting due to unknown reasons.

Promotion and critical reception

The song has been receiving significant airplay on Radio Disney, and it has been nominated for Best Song for 2008 on Radio Disney's official website. It was also used for New in November commercials aired on Disney Channel. "It's All Right Here" was sang live, by Cyrus as Hannah Montana in a concert set in Irvine, California on October 10 of 2008 and from that repeatedly aired a music video on Disney Channel. The song has been used in the episode of Hannah Montana, "Super(sticious) Girl". Disney Family gave a review for the song. They also noted that it "sounds like Hannah has grown up a bit"[1] Allmusic spoke of the song negatively, by stating: " The Hannah Montana machine has pumped out so much music so quickly that there just isn't much personality left" and "sounds equally cookie-cutter[2] About.com says "The musical reference that immediately comes to mind is Shania Twain (listen to It's All Right Here), especially with Cyrus' slight twang and husky voice."[3]

Music video

A music video for "It's All Right Here" premiered on Disney Channel on November 7, 2009.[4] The video was taken from a taped concert that took place on October 10, 2008 in Irvine, California. In the video, Miley Cyrus (as Montana) performs the song live to a concert audience. And along with seven others, the video is featured as bonus by the CD of Hannah Montana 3 and is included in the iTunes deluxe edition.
