"It's Dangerous Business Walking out Your Front Door" is a song by metalcore band Underoath. The song was released as the second single from their fourth album They're Only Chasing Safety, and is the final single released from the album.

Overview

A music video was created for the song, it starts with the band playing at a car wreck scene in the snow. As the song progresses the snow melts and later ends with the sun setting and the day ending.

The song is one of the two songs featured in a mashup track by The Legion of Doom entitled "Dangerous Business Since 1979", in which the track is composed of "It's Dangerous Business Walking out Your Front Door" by Underoath combined with "January 1979" by MewithoutYou. The song is also sampled in the P.O.S. song, "P.O.S. Is Ruining My Life".

Meaning

The meaning of the song may be linked to the original Underoath vocalist Dallas Taylor and how his girlfriend died in a car accident to which the song itself represents the dangers in everyday life..
