Ivan Jovanović (born July 8, 1962) is a Serbian football manager and former footballer. He is the coach of APOEL since January 7, 2008.[1]

Contents

Club career

Jovanović played for FK Rad in the Yugoslav First League during the 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons.[2] The next season, he transferred to the Greek side Iraklis Thessaloniki F.C., where he played until the end of his career. During his spell in Iraklis, Jovanović evolved into one of the highest quality foreign players who ever played for the team.

Manager

Ivan Jovanović started his managerial career on 2001 in Niki Volou. He worked also for Iraklis Thessaloniki, Panachaiki and APOEL. During his managerial career he had won 5 titles, all as the manager of APOEL. He has also managed to help APOEL to qualify for the first time on the Uefa Champions League Group Stage.
