J. T. Krul (born November 14, 1972 in Michigan) is an American comic book writer, best known for his work on Aspen MLT's Fathom comic series. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, holding a Bachelors in Film and Video Production, much like fellow comic writer Geoff Johns.

After moving from his home state of Michigan in 1996, J.T. Krul took up residence in Los Angeles, California. There, Krul was able to land the job of production assistant on the TV show Seinfeld. He managed to move up the ladder, becoming the show's production coordinator in its last season.

J.T. Krul's first comic work was at Marvel Comics, writing X-men Unlimited. He has since made quite a name for himself in the comic industry, writing the majority of books at Aspen MLT.

Recent projects include the Poison Ivy one-shot, the third in the Joker's Asylum series.[1] [2]. He is also the writer for Blackest Night: Titans and several issues of Titans and Teen Titans for DC. Krul will also write a one shot called Justice League: The Rise and Fall, as well as Justice League The Rise of Arsenal and will take over the Green Arrow series with a storyline called "The Fall of Green Arrow".
