Jonathan "JB" Benjamin Gill (born 7 December 1986) is an English singer in the boyband JLS. JLS were the runners up to Alexandra Burke in the fifth series of The X Factor in 2008.
Gill was born in Croydon, England. He had a promising career in rugby, playing for the London-Irish squad. He gave up rugby to persue his music. Bandmate Oritsé Williams met Gill auditioning for The X Factor, two years prior JLS's success in the show.
