Dr Jacqueline Pearcey (born 23 September 1963) is a Liberal Democrat politician in the City of Manchester, England.

Pearcy has served as a councillor in the Gorton North ward on Manchester City Council since 1991. She has stood for parliament three times, once in Davyhulme, then twice for the Manchester Gorton. She was a candidate in the 1999 European Elections.

Educated at Leeds Girls' High School, Pearcey has a BSc in Physics from Bristol University (1985) and PhD in Applied Nuclear Physics from Manchester University (1990). She currently works in Information Technology.

She is a published author of self-help guides for councillors and political activists, and an accredited trainer.

Pearcey has objected to the sale of a local Anglican church to the Society of Saint Pius X because of a recent row over controversial comments made by British SSPX bishop Richard WIlliamson. [1]
