Jalasjärvi is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The population of Jalasjärvi is 8,281 (31 December 2009)[2] and the municipality covers an area of 818.75 km2 (316.12 sq mi) of which 11.72 km2 (4.53 sq mi) is inland water (1 January 2009).[1] The population density is 10.11 /km2 (26.2 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
