James Henry Robert Innes-Ker, 7th Duke of Roxburghe (5 September 1839 – 23 October 1892), became Duke of Roxburghe on the death of his father, James Henry Robert Innes-Ker, 6th Duke of Roxburghe, his mother was Susanna Stephenia Dalbiac.

On 11 June 1874 he married Anne Emily Spencer-Churchill, daughter of the 7th Duke of Marlborough and they had the following children:

  • Lady Margaret Frances Susan Innes-Ker (1875-1930) married 25 Jul 1898 James Alexander Orr Ewing (22 Feb 1857-k.a.Kheis, So Africa 28 May 1900)
  • Henry John Innes-Ker, 8th Duke of Roxburghe (1876–1932), from whose only son all current Innes-Ker males are descended.
  • Lady Victoria Alexandrina Innes-Ker (1877-1970) married London 17 Aug 1901 Charles Hyde Villiers (Sep 1862-London 23 May 1947), and had issue.
  • Lady Isabel Innes-Ker, later Lady Isabel Wilson (1879-1905) married 23 Jun 1904 [later, Hon.] Guy Greville Wilson (19 May 1877-1 Feb 1943)
  • Lord Alastair Robert Innes-Ker (b. 1880) married London 10 Oct 1907 Anne Breese (d.London 30 Oct 1959) an American heiress, and had issue 2 sons and 1 daughter.
  • Lady Evelyn Anne Innes-Ker, later Lady Evelyn Collins (1882-1958) married London 23 Nov 1907 William Fellowes Collins (17 Sep 1865-15 Feb 1948), a grandson of Lord De Ramsay, and had issue.
  • Lord Robert Edward Innes-Ker (22 July 1885-19 July 1958); m.1st London 27 Oct 1920 at the Registry Office, London (div 1935) Charlotte Josephine Cooney, otherwise the musical comedy actress Jose Collins (23 May 1887 – 6 December 1958), as her first husband.[1].The couple divorced in 1935, having had no issue. He then married 2ndly London 28 Jul 1939 Eleanor Marie Woodhead (1887-Brighton 2 Feb 1958).There was no issue by either marriage.
