This article is about the rugby player. For the Scottish footballer, see James McLaren (footballer).

James McLaren (born 28 June 1972 in Stirling, Scotland) plays rugby union at centre.

He has been capped by Scotland and played in the World Cup in 2003. His first cap came against Argentina in 1999.
