Jan Urban (born May 14, 1962 in Jaworzno) is a former Polish football player and currently manager of Legia Warsaw.

He played for several Polish clubs, including Zagłębie Sosnowiec and Górnik Zabrze. He then moved to Spain and played for CA Osasuna, Real Valladolid and CD Toledo. While playing for Osasuna, Urban was the first player to score a hat-trick on December 30, 1990 against Real Madrid in a 4-0 victory.

Urban earned 57 caps for the Polish national team, scoring seven goals and participating in the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

He later began a coaching career, working as a coach for CA Osasuna's youth squad in 2004-05, and then in the offices of the club until the end of 2006-07. In summer of 2007 he took over as head coach of Legia Warsaw in his native Poland. During UEFA Euro 2008, Urban served as an assistant coach for the Polish national football team.On March 14th, 2010 he was fired from his coaching position with Legia Warsaw.
