Jean Boiteux (born June 20, 1933) is a French swimmer and olympic champion.

He was born in Marseilles.

He competed at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, where he received a gold medal in 400 m freestyle.[1] He received a bronze medal in 4 x 200 m freestyle relay with the French team (with Joseph Bernardo, Aldo Eminente and Alexandre Jany).

Boiteux was the first person from France to win an olympic gold medal in swimming.
