Jennifer Lynn Servo born Jennifer Lynn Olson on September 23, 1979 in Columbia Falls, Montana-September 16, 2002 in Abilene, Texas. Jennifer Servo worked as an news reporter at KPAX-TV in Missoula during her freshman year in high school, she later worked at the station KECI-TV that reached most of western Montana.[1] Servo graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1998, a scholarship was established in Servo’s name at the School after her death. The Jennifer Servo Memorial Scholarship is presented to a senior who wants to go into broadcast news.[2] Servo stated many times that she had the ambition to be the next Katie Couric and to work for one of the big networks.[3] Servo graduated from University of Montana in May 2002. She was offered her first full-time news reporter job from KRBC Television News in Abilene, Texas.[4] Just months after beginning her work on KRBC she was found murdered in her apartment in Abilene, she had been strangled and had received head trauma. Servos boyfriend at the time Ralph Sepulveda became the prime suspect, also Servos co-worker at KRBC Brian Travers became a suspect.[5] Still no-one was ever arrested or put to trial for Jennifer Servos death, the case remains unsolved.

Jennifer Servos murder has been covered by numerous media since 2002 amongst the more notable are America's Most Wanted and ABCs 48 hour mystery under the name of "Deadline For Justice".[6]
