Jenny Galloway
Born 1959

Jenny Galloway (born 1959) is a British actress, best known for her stage career.

Her many acclaimed roles include "Madame Thénardier" in the 1993/1994 London cast of Les Misérables. She reprised this role in Les Miserables - The Dream Cast in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 1995 alongside Alun Armstrong, and most recently played the role on Broadway in the 2006 revival of the show, at the Broadhurst Theatre.

In 1994, Jenny played "Widow Corney" in Sam Mendes' highly acclaimed production of Lionel Bart's Oliver! at the London Palladium. She was succeeded in this role by opera singer Rosemary Ashe. In 1999, she created the role of "Rosie" in Mamma Mia! at the Prince Edward Theatre. Other theatre credits include The Boys from Syracuse and Sweeney Todd as "Mrs. Lovett".

In 2004, Jenny originated the role of housekeeper "Mrs. Brill" in the London production of Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins also at the Prince Edward Theatre. She recently recreated this role on Broadway, beginning on September 1, 2009. She left the show in November 2009.

Film credits include In Transit, About a Boy, Fierce Creatures and the role of the Foreign Secretary in Johnny English.
