Jim Hoff (born April 16, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan) is a former minor league baseball manager in the Cincinnati Reds organization and current minor league field coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Hoff spent ten years managing various Cincinnati farm teams: the Seattle Rainiers (1973), Billings Mustangs (1974–1976 and 1978–1981), Tampa Tarpons (1977), and Nashville Sounds (1988). After 22 games with Nashville, Hoff was replaced and took up a position in the Reds front office.[1] In 1978, he managed the Mustangs to win the Pioneer League Championship. In 2002, he became the minor league field coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays.
