James Phillips "Jimmy" Allen (16 October 1909 – 8 February 1995) was a professional and international footballer who played as a centre half. He was born in Poole, Dorset.

His club career included spells at Poole Town, Portsmouth and Aston Villa. He also represented England internationally. During World War Two, he made eight guest appearances for Southampton.[1]
