Joseph John 'Joe' Arlauckas (born July 20, 1965 in Rochester, New York) is a retired American professional basketball player, in the power forward-center position.

College/NBA career

The son of Lithuanian immigrants, Arlauckas played four years at the Niagara University Purple Eagles, after which he was drafted with the 74th pick of the 1987 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.

During his sole season in the National Basketball Association, he appeared nine times, averaging 4 points in roughly 10 minutes of play.

On December 14, 1987, Arlauckas was cut by the Kings; after six months in Italy with Snaidero Caserta, he went on to have an highly successful career in Spain (one exact decade), appearing for Caja de Ronda, Tau Vitoria and Real Madrid, winning several individual and team accolades; with the latter, he formed one of European basketball's most fearsome frontcourts, with Arvydas Sabonis, notably winning the Euroleague in 1995.

In six seasons out of 10 in the country, Arlauckas averaged more than 20 points per game. He retired in 2000 at 35, after two years in Greece - one apiece with AEK Athens B.C. and Aris BC.
