Joseph Prokop is a former professional American football player who played punter for seven seasons for the Green Bay Packers, San Diego Chargers, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, and New York Giants.

Prokop was indicted by a Las Vegas grand jury in January, 2009 for his involvement in the sales of "Tax Break 2000", a shopping website that fraudulently stated it would allow customers to claim legitimate income tax credits and deductions under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Internal Revenue Code. Additionally, Prokop has complaints pending against him for fraudulent activity as a sales representative of Fine Water Imports of Las Vegas.
