Joe Schriner is an independent candidate who has run for President of the United States in the past three election cycles. He and his family have traveled some 82,000[1] campaign miles. Schriner is a former journalist who has, since 1991, spent the past 17 years doing extensive cross-country research for an expansive set of position papers.[2] Schriner has been featured in some 2,000 newspapers, 175 regional network TV news shows, and hundreds of radio shows.[3] He has also written three books: Back Road to the White House[4], America's Best Town[5] and America's Best Town 2.[6] The candidate bills himself as an "average Joe concerned parent from the Midwest."[7] In interviews, he says he's 'concerned' about his children inheriting a world of: abortion, global warming, staggering inner city and Third World poverty, and a monumental national debt.
