Joel Quartermain (born 19 January 1977, Kew, Melbourne, Victoria) is the guitarist, back-up singer, recording drummer and pianist of the Australian band Eskimo Joe. He spent a lot of his childhood focused on radio and tapes. In 1989, he moved to Perth, where he attended Hollywood Senior High School.[1] Quartermain first joined a band, Freud's Pillows, in Year 12 and thus met Kavyen Temperley which then evolved into Eskimo Joe.

Quatermain initially played the drums for Eskimo Joe but moved to join Stuart MacLeod on guitars in 2004, with the live drumming position being filled by a number of musicians.
