John Bruce Coghill, Jr. is a Republican member of the Alaska Senate, appointed to represent District F in 2009. He was first elected to the legislature in 1998.[1] [2] John Coghill served 5 years of service in the United States Air Force and reached Staff Sergeant.[3]

Personal life

Coghill is the son of former Lieutenant Governor of Alaska Jack Coghill.

Representative Coghill has a wife: Luann, three children: Shaun (John), Joshua & Jayme, and two grandchildren. John Coghill graduated from Nenana Public High School in 1968.[4]
