John D. Lesinski (born in 1959 or 1960)[1] is a Democrat candidate for the House of Delegates in Virginia's 15th congressional district. He announced his bid during one of the meetings of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors.[2] He will be challenging the incumbent, Republican Todd Gilbert, who was first elected in 2005.

Lesinski is a retired US Marine Corps Colonel and commercial real estate broker.[3] In 1980, he received a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University in marketing. Lesinski is married to Heidi Lesinski and has two children, Daniel and Emily.[3] He is currently living in Washington, Virginia.[1]
