Johnny Ekström (born 5 March 1965 in Kallebäck) is a Swedish former footballer.

He is most noted for his career in IFK Göteborg, where he was highly successful. As a professional he was less successful, often just staying a year in the team. He became both Swedish and German Champion, with Göteborg and Bayern Munich respectively.

He had also appeared for the Swedish national team, and participated in the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy.

His nicknames in Sweden are "Kallebäcks-Expressen" (the express from Kallebäck) or "Johnny Bråttom" (Johnny in a hurry) due to his speed on the football pitch.
