Jon Foster (born August 3, 1984) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the 2004 film The Door in the Floor and the 2006 horror movie, Stay Alive. Foster currently co-stars opposite Jenna Elfman in the CBS comedy Accidentally on Purpose.

Personal life

Foster was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Gillian and Stephen Foster, who own several restaurants, bowling alleys, and night clubs.[2][3] His older brother, Ben Foster, is also an actor. Foster's parents, whom his brother has described as "free-spirited, Vietnam-protesting hippies", relocated to the small town of Fairfield, Iowa after he was born, after their Boston home was burglarized while they were present.[1][4] Foster is Jewish; his paternal grandmother emigrated from Russia to escape pogroms.[4][5]
