Jonathan Caouette (born 1973) is an American director. Caouette is the director of Tarnation (2003) and the forthcoming All Tomorrow's Parties about the cult music festival. As an actor, Caouette played a major role in the 2006 film Fat Girls and is set to star in the forthcoming Portland. He also appeared in Shortbus, directed by John Cameron Mitchell.

Caouette attended Westbury High School in Houston, Texas.

Personal Life

Caouette was at one point in his life married and has a ten-year-old, but eventually came out as gay, divorced his wife, and now lives with his respected partner.

Caouette's son, Josh, was featured in the 2008 documentary Bi the Way.
