Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Baronet QC (28 February 1845 – 29 July 1914)[1] was a British lawyer and politician who served as the Liberal Member of Parliament for Accrington from 1892 to 1910.[1] He was created a baronet on 15 July 1908.[1]

Leese was admitted to the Inner Temple - one of the four Inns of Court - in 1868 and was invested as a Queen's Counsel in 1891. Outside of his legal and political careers, Leese also played first-class cricket for Lancashire County Cricket Club.[2]
