Juan Guillermo Castillo Iriart (born 17 April 1978 in Durazno) is a Uruguayan goalkeeper. He currently plays for Deportivo Cali in the Colombian Primera A and the Uruguay national football team, as the first goalkeeper.
He signed a two-year contract with Botafogo in January 2008.[1]
After a serious knee injury that left him out of the fields for more than half of 2008 Brazilian Série A, Castillo returned to Botafogo first team on May 24, 2009, in a match for 2009 Brazilian Série A against Grêmio in Estádio Olímpico.[2] In the same week Castillo received a call-up from Uruguayan coach Oscar Tabárez to the Uruguay national football team for the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers against Brazil and Venezuela.[3]
